Autumn Art Exhibition 2025

The Easter Bunny is on his way and the Northern Beaches Art Society are proud to present their Autumn Art Exhibition and Sale over the Easter Weekend at the Tramshed Hall in Narrabeen – 1395A Pittwater Road, Narrabeen.  The exhibition will be held from Thursday 17 April to Tuesday 22 April, 2025.

Entry to the exhibition is FREE and will be open from 4pm on Thursday 17 April 2025 and on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 9am to 5pm.  The Official Opening will be from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday 17 March, with drinks being served and will be opened by a very special guest (More info soon!). Of course, everyone is welcome!

With Easter being a time of re-birth, what better time to revitalise your walls with some new and original artworks!  We have a wealth of talent on the Northern Beaches and all the artworks, in this exhibition, are from local Northern Beaches Artists.  There will be a vast array of works in a variety of mediums and styles in oils, watercolours, acrylics, and pastels, all covering a multitude of subjects.  All the paintings will be for sale.

Visitors will also be able to vote for their two favourite paintings in the exhibition.  Not only will the two artists who receive the most votes win a prize each, but all those who vote will go into the draw for the Viewer’s Prize.

Conditions of Entry and Fees

  • Roster Duty: It is mandatory for all exhibitors to help man the exhibition. Please check the Roster below to see the times available. Please contact Hilary Macorison at hilarymacorison@hotmail.com to organise at least 1 x 2 hour shift.
  • Number of Artworks: maximum 4 artworks [ NB: maybe reduced if total exhibition entries exceed venue space limitations]
  • Entry Fees: $20 for each painting and $10 for miniatures
  • All Artworks MUST BE FOR SALE
  • No wet paintings will be accepted
  • Delivery: Between 8am and 9am on Thursday 17 April, 2025.  Please deliver your paintings to the Tramshed Hall, 1395a Pittwater Road, Narrabeen.   
  • Collection:  All unsold paintings are to be collected from the Tramshed Hall, between 5pm and 6pm on Tuesday 22 April, 2025. 
  • Maximum Artwork sizes:
    • Standard paintings: Maximum width 1 metre [100 cm wide]
    • Miniature paintings: Maximum Area 100 sq.cm [total image area]
  • Pricing: Please consider the Market Value of your expected buyers
    • Minimum price accepted: $200 and all works must be For Sale.
    • Commission: A 25% Commission is charged by Art Society for all works sold.
  • Artworks presentation requirements – each painting must:
    • Be signed [on front is preferrable]
    • Have D-Rings attached 50mm from top and Miniatures 20mm from top]
    • Have a cord/coated wire below D- Rings [to allow new hanging by purchaser].
    • All metal items to be covered with tape [framers tape preferred]. This includes all D-Rings, staples and screws. This is for the to protection of paintings, during the setup and set down of the exhibition. Please note that paintings will be rejected if not taped.
    • Labels mandatory: All paintings to have a Label on back of painting [top back RH corner] with Title, Medium, Price & Artist name exactly as on Entry Form below
